I noticed a lot of people having trouble with this product because they can't seem to see the light. As touched on with other reviews, this is an IR (Infrared) light, invisible to the naked eye and only seen through a device that can see IR light.
Now, if you're still reading this, I bought two of these because I needed IR lighting that wasn't going to cost one my of my children. I am a paranormal investigator and because it is a niche hobby, for lack of a better term, the products made specific to said hobby are way overpriced. I seen lights half as bright as one of these flashlights sell for upwards of $80 with laughable battery life. If you happen to be here looking for an alternative based on similar interests, get this light. There are only two things about it you need to know. Indoors, just one of these can easily light up a 30x15 room. If you have one set to area and one focused further, you can get even more detail. I'm basing my experience using a camera I modified to see in full spectrum. I did try these with a Sony Nightshot II enabled camera, and while it did make the area significantly brighter, it was no where near as clear and vibrant as it was on my fullspec. Just something to keep in mind. The second thing... when you are done, remove your battery. It will drain it even when it's off. A minor inconvenience, but like I said, this light is pretty amazing and totally worth the extra two seconds to do.
