Worked good for the price.
Used this for camping and hiking the past couple years during the summers. Worked very well for a year then the next year it developed a hole. Still held water long enought for my dog to drink but got muddy evey time i filled with water so it would get my pack muddy when i put it away. Still works well for food just not H2O. I would recommend this but expect to get a new one every year.

    Pretty durable and well made collapsible dog food bowl! I originally bought this for backpacking with my dog to the Red River Gorge, Ky, it proved very helpful, its lightweight and collapses into a half moon shape with a plastic carabiner, perfect for packing! The bowl itself is quite large, enough to fit quite a lot of food, about as big as the bottom of a gallon jug (if that helps at all). It can also work as a quick water bowl, water can sit in the bowl for a little less than 5 minutes, which is a perfect amount of time for your four legged friend to grab a drink! The material is NOT waterproof, more than 5 minutes and water will start to leak through! It is very easy to clean, you can use a sponge, paper towel or just water, it dries and packs easily! I would definitely recommend this Collapsible dog bowl to anyone in the market to buy one, I did some shopping around and found this particular one to be the best for my dogs needs (unfortunately she's no longer with us, but will always be loved). Great price too, what's not to like! Thanks!

    We take our two dogs on hikes all the time, and when we do it's always a chore to get them to drink water. Not so with these collapsible dog dishes. They fold into a little taco shape and have a tiny clip so you can attach them to your belt, backpack, etc. Once you're ready to use them just unzip the little taco shape and it folds out into a bowl. It's actually fairly sizable when it's opened up; I'd say about the size of a large soup bowl at a restaurant. I haven't had it filled with liquid long enough to see if it remains water tight for long, but in the five minutes the dogs are breaking to drink water and nibble on kibbles its stayed water tight.

    It's easy to clean too; just hit it with some hot soap and water and leave it out to dry.

    Overall I would recommend this.

Seller apologized and offered 1/2 off refunds or send us a new product. I accepted the new replacement instead. 3 weeks later I received the replacement bowl. Same quality as precious one. I just be careful when use the metal clipper this time.
    We mainly use this travel bowl to give our dogs water. Filled the bowl half way up will keep the wall from collapsing. Before putting it away we wiped it down with paper towels.
    Cons: slow shipping from China. But if you are not rush to have it then 3 weeks or less time frame should be ok.

    I bought two of these for my Huskies. They fold up compactly so they fit well into this waist pouch thing that has a couple of water bottle on it. Very easy to stop in the middle of a walk somewhere and pop the water bowls out, unfold them and pour the water in. They are surprisingly deep too so they hold a lot! of water!

    The heavy canvas they are made from is very durable too.

    I've tried a variety of drinking/water solutions for walking my dogs over the last several years, everything from hard plastic canteen/bowl unit to homemade things, and these drinking bowls are by far the bets. Also because they are so deep, I can leave some water in them, maybe an inch deep or so which is a lot, given the diameter of the bowl, and leave that sitting out in my vehicle for the dogs to drink from while riding too.

    i have a beautiful pitbull puppy and he needs exercise. we go on mile or two or six walks all the time. what i used to do is carry a bottle of water and search for something to feed him water in. i would stop at a mcdonalds and buy a bottle of water and beg them for one of their salad bowls things like that. with this fabulous fold up bowl i just attach it ti his leash or on my belt loop. the fact that it zips up and has a hook for attaching to other things makes it a better product than the other fabric bowls. it is that much easier to travel with. like all fabric bowls, it can be folded down if it is too big but it is big enough for my quite big 4 month old. i also think i can use it through his adulthood. its a good sized bowl and it doesnt leak.

    Well, I haven't tried them all, but for this money, you can't go wrong. I have 3 of these portable bowls. Unfortunately one of them was zipped shut and my 15 month old German Shepherd thought it was a toy. Obviously these bowls are for when we camp or travel. We use one for food and one for water. I've had water in all three and not one has leaked. I've read some reviews that these bowls leak, I'm here to tell you I've tested 2 of them with water for several days. Yes, I've had moisture under the bowl, but this was only condensation. These bowl are fort temporary use, and work great for this. Not to mention the size and weight are great for either travel or camping.

    The only thing I would advise is seeking a towel to dry it out if you use it for water (or opening it up again to dry out when you get home) - it of course won't dry out if you keep it zipped up after removing the water. What's really nice, though, is that they open up to be really large and are easy to transport. Our boxer lab pup enjoys these more than the silicone collapsible ones, because it provides a larger area for him to stick his nose into and is easier to open up and fill when in a hurry after a long walk. With the silicone ones, you have to make sure it's all the way extended, on a flat surface, and basically make the pup wait until you're done filling it -- not this model!
